4. Press  once to add as a normal group or channel.

NUISANCE DELETE (SYSTEM MODEL)
A channel can temporarily be deleted from the scan list if it
is not the currently selected channel.
1. Turn Scan ON.
2. When the radio receives a call on the channel, press

. The channel is removed from the scan list
until the radio is power cycled.
BACKLIGHT ON/OFF
1. Press  to access the menu.
2. Press   to scroll through menu until
“BCKLGHT” appears.
3. Press
 to select Backlight menu.
4. Press
  to toggle backlight ON and OFF.
5. Press
 to select new backlight setting.
