Foreword
This Guide is a compilation of the system design and
application procedures for all Hart & Cooley

Gas
Venting and Chimney products. The first section is
specifically devoted to the design of Double-Wall

This Guide has been prepared not only for the
convenience and assistance of contractors but also for
the assistance of building inspectors, engineering

The basis for the material in this Guide is the
standard engineering application of the scientific laws
for the behavior of fluid flow and heat transfer. In
addition, these methods have been proved valid by
many decades of field and laboratory experience by
engineers, in design and application, and utilities and
code authorities.
THIS GUIDE SHOULD BE USED IN ADDITION TO,
