GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS HPDD01 DRILL-DRIVER / HPID01 IMPACT DRIVER have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water.
DRILL/DRIVER SAFETY WARNINGS Protect your hearing. Wear hearing protection during extended periods of operation. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury. Battery tools do not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore, they are always in operating condition. OPERATION HPDD01 DRILL/DRIVER / HPID01 IMPACT DRIVER INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK NOTE: Running at low speeds under constant usage may cause the drill to become overheated. If this occurs, cool the drill by running it without a load and at full speed. OPERATION HPDD01 DRILL/DRIVER NOTICE: Never change speeds while the tool is running. Failure to obey this caution could result in serious damage to the drill. NOTE: If you have difficulty changing from one speed range to the other, turn the chuck by hand until the gears engage. When drilling, be prepared for binding at bit breakthrough. When these situations occur, drill has a tendency to grab and kick opposite to the direction of rotation and could cause loss of control when breaking through material.
OPERATION HPID01 IMPACT DRIVER DRIVING OR REMOVING SCREWS BUILT-IN COUPLER See Figures 4 - 5, page 11. See Figure 3, page 11. The tool has a built-in coupler. The coupler has been designed to accept 1/4 in. hex bits. NOTE: Use only impact quality bits with a locking groove, minimum length of 2 in. INSTALLING/REMOVING BITS See Figure 3, page 11. To install bits: Lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of rotation selector in center position. Slide the coupler forward and hold in position.

UTILISATION HPDD01 PERCEUSE/TOURNEVIS / HPID01 CLÉ À CHOCS INSTALLATION/RETRAIT DU BLOC-PILES Voir le figure 1, page 10 (HPDD01). Voir le figure 1, page 11 (HPID01). Pour verrouiller la gâchette, mettre le sélecteur de rotation en position centrale. Insérer la pile dans l’outil comme illustré. S’assurer que le loquet du bloc-piles s’enclenchent correctement et que le bloc-pile est sécurisé au l’outil avant de mettre sous tension.
UTILISATION HPDD01 PERCEUSE/TOURNEVIS Sélectionner la vitesse élevée (high) (2) pour les applications de vissage et perçage rapides telles que le perçage dans du bois ou de la maçonnerie. AVIS : Ne jamais changer de gamme de vitesse lorsque l’outil est en fonctionnement. Le non respect de cette mise en garde pourrait entraîner de sérieux dommages à la perceuse. NOTE : S’il est difficile de changer de gamme de vitesse, tourner le mandrin à la main, jusqu’à ce que les pignons s’engrènent.
UTILISATION HPID01 CLÉ À CHOCS VISSAGE ET DÉVISSAGE COUPLEUR INTÉGRÉ Voir les figures 4 et 5, page 11. Voir la figure 3, page 11. Cet outil est doté d’un coupleur. Le coupleur est conçu pour l’insertion d’embouts hexagonaux de 6,35 mm (1/4 po). NOTE : N’utiliser que des embouts pour clé à chocs dotés d’une rainure de verrouillage, minimum longueur de 2 po. FUNCIONAMIENTO HPDD01 TALADRO/DESTORNILLADOR / HPID01 DESTORNILLADOR DE IMPACTO SELECTOR DE SENTIDO DE ROTACIÓN AVISO: Vea la figura 2, page 10 (HPDD01). Vea la figura 2, page 11 (HPID01). Para evitar dañar el engranaje, antes de cambiar el sentido de rotación siempre permita que se detenga completamente el portabrocas.
FUNCIONAMIENTO HPDD01 TALADRO/DESTORNILLADOR TALADRADO/INTRODUCCIÓN DE TORNILLOS Vea la figura 7, page 10. Revise el selector de sentido de rotación para ver si está en la posición correcta (marcha adelante o atrás). Use velocidad baja (low) (1) para aplicaciones de alta fuerza de torsión y velocidad alta (high) (2) para aplicaciones rápidas de taladrado o con destornilladores. Consulte tren de Tren de engranajes de dos velocidades y Auste de la fuerza de torsión.
FUNCIONAMIENTO HPID01 DESTORNILLADOR DE IMPACTO ACOPLADOR INTEGRADO Vea la figura 3, página 11. Esta herramienta dispone de un acoplador integrado. El acoplador está diseñado para aceptar puntas hexagonales de 6,35 mm (1/4 pulg).
