TO PLAY To activate Koda, squeeze his left ear and he’ll say, "Hey there, how are you doin’?" Answer his question and he’ll respond with another question and a fun phrase! To hear another question, just squeeze his hand again. PRESS LEFT EAR After about 15 seconds of non-activation, Koda says, "Ko-da" and shuts himself off. To reactivate, squeeze his left ear. For best results: • Keep background noise low, or play in a quiet room. Shouting or speaking very loudly does not improve toy’s function.

TO REPLACE BATTERIES Use a Phillips/cross head screwdriver to loosen screw in battery compartment door (screw remains attached to door). Remove door. Remove exhausted batteries and insert 3 x 1.5V fresh "AAA"/LR03 alkaline batteries. Replace door and tighten screw. CAUTION: TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE 1) As with all small batteries, the batteries used with this toy should be kept away from small children who still put things in their mouths.
