6. Bolting the ‘Y’ bracket to crossbar and leg
Use (2) 3/8”-16 x 2” carriage bolts, (2) 3/8” split lock washers and (2) 3/8”-16 nuts to attach the ‘Y’
bracket to the crossbar portions that connects to the side rail. Repeat for other side.
Place the new bracket assembly back onto the leg and into to the ‘H’ bracket on the side rail.
Tighten the small crossbar to ‘H’ bracket and leg using hardware removed earlier. Repeat for other side.
Slide (2) 3/8”-16 x 1-1/2” hex bolts removed earlier into the center channel of the inner rear crossbar
section.
