INSTRUCTIONS FOR:
PRIME
STEP 2
Connect to Cable source
Your wall socket Your cable splitter
Your Cable modem
Connect coax cable between your wall socket and splitter.
Then connect your HDHomeRun PRIME and cable
modem to your splitter via coax able.
STEP 4
Insert your M-Card
Optional SDV
If your provider uses SDV, connect the tuning adapter to
the USB port on the HDHomeRun PRIME and the cable line.
USB is not for use with external hard drive or other devices.
STEP 5
Connect the Power
Insert the M-CARD obtained from your cable provider.
Connect the power adapter to the HDHomeRun PRIME
and an outlet.
STEP 6
Set-up your HDHomeRun
Goto My.HDHomeRun and follow instructions for
setting up your HDHomerun PRIME and follow the Set
Up Wizard. Enjoy watching across the largest number
of Media devices.
STEP 1
Set-up your CableCARD
Contact your cable provider to set-up the CableCARD.
This may require activating in advance or a home visit
from your cable provider so best to check in advance of
HDHomeRun PRIME setup.
STEP 3
Connect to Router
Your existing routerCat 5e cable supplied
Connect Cat5e network cable between your
HDHomeRun PRIME and your router or
a spare port on your Cable modem.
