Q: Why is air leaking from the pressure relief valve?
A: The pressure relief valve is made to only be turned one way. A click to the right opens it to release pressure, and another
click to the right closes it to build pressure. The pressure relief valve should only be turned to the right and never to the left.
Q: How often should the unit be cleaned?
A: The unit should be cleaned after every use. This prevents clogs and damaging of the seals.
Q: What is the proper way to store the unit?
A: After the unit is clean, the hose assembly (supply tube, hose, flow control, and wand) should be removed from the tank.
The flow control should be in locked position for proper drainage and drying. Loosen the pump assembly but leave it in the
tank when storing. Store all components in a clean, dry area.
Q: What type of lubrication should be used when lubricating the seals on the unit?
A: The recommended lubrication to be used is petroleum jelly.
Q: Why is the nozzle producing a bad spray pattern or low spray volume?
A: This could mean that the nozzle, wand, or hose is clogged. To fix this problem, each piece needs to be taken apart and
cleaned properly. Another possibility is that the solution being used is too thick. Refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines to
ensure the solution can be used in this sprayer.
Q: How does the pump handle lock in place?
A: To lock the handle in place, press down firmly and turn it clockwise.
Q: How does the pump come apart?
A: Unscrew the pump from the tank, unlock the pump handle and pull it out as far as it will go. With a flat head screwdriver,
push down on the tabs on each side of the pump (located right under the pump handle) to release the locking cap. Pull up
on the handle and the plunger assembly will come out of the pump cylinder.
Q: Why does only air come out when trying to spray?
A: If only air is coming out when trying to spray, that means the supply tube isn’t attached correctly. To fix this problem,
unscrew and pull off the hose from the tank. Then, unscrew the pump from the tank and get the supply tube out from
inside. Reattach the supply tube to the hose, insert back into the tank, and screw the hose back on.
