Potential Adverse Events
Discomfort from prolonged use of the Headset. Discontinue use on subject and seek medical advice.
Eyestrain from prolonged exposure to visual stimulus. Discontinue use on subject and seek medical advice.
Seizures in subjects with photosensitive epilepsy. Discontinue use on subject and then perform first aid.
Contact an ambulance.
Flicker vertigo from prolonged exposure to visual stimulus. Discontinue use on subject and seek medical
advice.
Electromagnetic Emissions and Immunity
The NUROCHEK-I System should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment. If adjacent or
stacked use is necessary, the device should be observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in
which it will be used.
The use of accessories other than those specified for the device is not recommended as it may result in
increased emissions or decreased immunity of the device.
Caution
Intended Use
The Nurochek device should not replace clinical evaluation. Intended use is as per section 1.2, page 5, and
does not replace clinical judgement.
Batteries
The Headset contains an internal battery. Local ordinances should be followed to safely dispose of all
electronics.
Do not use the NUROCHEK-I System in the presence of flammable gases.
Limitations of Use
The NUROCHEK-I System is intended for indoor use only.
The NUROCHEK-I System is designed to be used within 15-35°C (60 - 95°F) in 20-80% humidity.
The Headset is not waterproof: do not attempt to submerge Headset in liquid.
Wireless connectivity line-of-sight range is 1m (3ft). However, use in vicinity of other wireless devices and
obstacles may lower this range.
App Use
The smartphone operating the App to be used with the Headset must be secured with PIN/Password or
biometrics (e.g. fingerprint authentication).
Do not allow other persons access to the App or Headset.
