Installation Guide

1. HP Sticky Shield™ should be placed on the refrigerator, cabinet, or drywall. It should be stuck to the “cold” surface so it can reflect heat back into
oven or stove.
2. Wall or cabinet temperature should be at least 50°F when applying, sticking onto anything colder may not allow adhesive to set up properly.
3. Be sure appliance, cabinet, or wall surface is dust free and clean. Drywall should have one coat of paint or primer. We strongly recommend rubbing
the surface with a pre-paint cleaner or isopropyl alcohol (or other non-residue cleaner).
4. Measure the refrigerator panel, cabinet, or wall to be protected. Using a heavy duty pair of scissors to trim the HP Sticky Shield™ to shape if
necessary.
5. Carefully peel the adhesive backing off the HP Sticky Shield™. We strongly recommend using razor blade or utility knife to start peeling the release
paper from one corner of the HP Sticky Shield™.
6. Lay the HP Sticky Shield by starting on one edge of the cabinet or wall and work out slowly to ensure no “bubbles” occur. Air bubbles will cause the
material to not stick and fall off.
7. Press the HP Sticky Shield™ rmly onto the refrigerator, wall, or cabinet while pressing down for 20 seconds.
8. You can use screws as an additional attachment method. We recommend you use them on drywall for additional support.
9. Use included edging tape to seal ends and seams of the HP Sticky Shield. Clean the edge of HP Sticky Shield™ with the pre-paint cleaner or
isopropyl alcohol and the surface it will be used on.
10. Pre-t and trim tape to t the HP Sticky Shield™.
11. It is important to do one edge/seam of HP Sticky Shield™ at a time with the edge tape.
12. Peel adhesive backing off tape, press and rmly hold in place for 20 seconds.
