Remove magazine. Head space is correct when the gap between bolt head and bolt head carrier amounts to 0.1—0.5 mm (0.004—0.020 in.). It may not be possible to introduce the feeler size 0.5.

The extractor protrusion is correct when the “GO” side of the gauge can smoothly be turned under the extractor claw.
