6.8 C-Axis Contours
Front or rear face: Linear element
This function defines a line segment on the front/rear face.
Defining a linear element:
Call the lines menu.
Select the line direction.
Vertical line
Horizontal line
Line at angle
Line at angle
Line in any direction
Enter the line dimensions and define the transition to the next
element.
Parameters
XK End point in Cartesian coordinates
YK End point in Cartesian coordinates
XKi Distance from starting point to end point
YKi Distance from starting point to end point
a End point in polar coordinates (reference angle: positive XK
axis)
P End point in polar coordinates
W Angle of the line (for reference see illustration)
WV Counterclockwise angle to the preceding element. If the
preceding element is an arc: Angle to the tangent.
WN Counterclockwise angle to the following element. If the
following element is an arc: Angle to the tangent.
L Length of element
Tangential/nontangential: Specify the transition to the
next contour element
