2. With your left hand, turn the grey knob (1) at least one full turn
anticlockwise toward unlock.
3. Adjust the angle of the evaporating flask by carefully moving the
condenser.
4. With your left hand, turn the grey knob (1) toward lock.
4.5.7 Adjusting the immersion depth of the evaporating flask
Drive rotating unintentionally!
Danger of injury to hands.
 Ensure that the rotation is turned off.
We recommend locking the immersion depth to ensure a consistent depth of
the evaporating flask in the heating bath.

Vertical stop (
Fig. 4-24 (1)) in top position.
1.
Version without guard hood:
– Turn black knob (
Fig. 4-11 (2)) anticlockwise toward unlock.
The vertical stop (
Fig. 4-24 (1)) will drop down.
– Move the lift down until the desired immersion depth has been
reached.
2. Turn the black knob clockwise toward lock.
The immersion depth of the evaporating flask is now locked.
3. Version with guard hood:
– Move the lift down until the desired immersion depth has been
reached.
– Hold the guard hood with your hand.
– Turn black knob (
Fig. 4-11 (2)) anticlockwise toward unlock.
