QUICK START CHECKLIST

WARNING!! The instruction manual must be read completely before operating

the Heli-Max AXE CXn Helicopter. It contains speciﬁ c warnings about safety and

use of the LiPo ﬂ ight battery supplied with the AXE CXn. All of these warnings and safety

steps must be read and understood before proceeding to the next step.

1. Plug the charger into an AC outlet. The

indicator light on the wall transformer will ﬂ ash

red during initialization and then turn solid green

once initialization has been completed.

2. Plug the battery into the charger. The charge

indicator light will turn red; this indicates that

the battery is being charged. Once the battery is

completely charged, the charge indicator light will

turn solid green. Disconnect the battery from the

charger. Under normal operating conditions, the

battery may take up to one hour to recharge.

3. Open the battery cover on the back of the

transmitter, and install four AA batteries. Double

check the polarity of each battery before replacing

the battery cover.

4. Place the helicopter on its side and slide the

battery into the battery compartment. Connect

the ﬂ ight battery and place the helicopter onto a

ﬂ at surface.

❏ 5. Turn the transmitter on and allow the helicopter to remain still for 10 seconds. Always step 15 feet [4.5m] away from the AXE CXn Helicopter before operating the throttle. Your AXE CXn helicopter has a safe start feature built in that prevents the motor from activating unless the collective stick has been lowered to the lowest position. If the motor won’t run and turn the main blades, please make sure the collective stick is all the way down and leave it there for a couple of seconds.
