Application
Thesecross-linkedandtemperatureresistantwiringandcontrolcableswithenhancedfire-behaviourpropertiesareusedforwiringupthelighting
fixtures,heaters,electricmachines,switchingsystemsanddistributionswitchboards.Averylongservicelifeisalsogivenonaccountoftheirexcellent
high-temperaturestability.Thesecablesexhibitgoodresistancetoweatheringaswellasbeingverystabletotemperature,moisture,ozoneandUV
radiation.Thesecablesaretherforemainlyusedfortrafficcontrolsystemsanddiverseoutdoorapplications.Thedevelopmentofsmokeislowand
nocorrosivegasesareliberatedduringcombustionofthesehalogen-freecablesincaseoffire.Theriskoftoxicfumesisconsiderablylessintheevent
offirebecausethecoloricloadvaluesislower.Precioustimecanthusbewonforadisciplinedevacuation,andunnecessarylossoflifecanbeprevented.
