5. Installation and Tune Up Information
This table shows all installation steps in an order as they should be carried out. On
the following pages some more details can be found.

Mark position for both containers

Download containers and place it on the fundament

Install antenna poles with guide ropes

Install antenna coil with radials and check tuning

Cable laying (if required in tubes or foil)

Connect line power and phone connection

Unpack system components and install rack

Power up system and configure WERA Control

Run internal calibration (256 samples, 80 Hz offset)

Connect Calibration Box outdoors at end of Rx cables
and run calibration. Activate calibration.

Connect all Rx antennas

Connect Tx array and feed-in just one signal from Tx
output (no power amplifier connected yet)
Run calibration and check direct path signals

Connect Power Amplifier, switch all attenuators “on”
and start test calibration. Adjust PA power to “green”

Stop test calibration and run calibration to check direct
path signal. Reduce power if required.
