4. Press ∧ or ∨ button to choose alarm On or Off, the display will show alarm clock if you SELECT on.
5. Press the SELECT button. The alarm hour setting will begin to flash.
6. Press ∧ or ∨ button to adjust the alarm hour setting
7. Press “>”or “<” to save current value and advance to other value settings (ON/HOUR/MIN)
8. Press OK or MENU button to save and exit the setting
NOTE：You could press SNOOOZE button to stop the alarm
3.3 Set Language
There are 3 languages built in this radio, English, French and Spanish. The user can SELECT a desired
language to use.
1. Press Menu button to enter setting mode
2. Press ∧ and ∨ buttons to scroll through menu to Set Language.
3. Press SELECT button to enter language setting
4. Press ∧ or ∨ button to choose a desired language
5. Press OK or MENU button to save and exit the setting.
3.4 Set Location
The location code is unique, it is the location information code for each area. There are 3 options: ANY, SINGLE
and MULTIPLE.
When it sets as ANY, the radio will alarm as long as it receives any alarm information
“Single” County Code Setting
Only when the location code of the received alarm information matches with this radio, it will alarm.
1. Press Menu button to enter setting mode
2. Press ∧ and ∨ buttons to scroll through menu to Set Location
3. Press SELECT button to enter location setting
4. Press ∧ or ∨ button to scroll through “ANY” “Single” or “Multiple”
5. When display “Single”, press the “SELECT” button to enter country option.
6. SELECT the desired country (USA or Canada), then press SELECT to confirm
7. Press ∧ or ∨ button to SELECT the desired state/province then press SELECT button
8. Press ∧ or ∨ button to SELECT the desired location then press SELECT
9. When display “Single”, the user can press “>” button to edit the address.
10. Press the OK or MENU button to save and exit the setting.
“Multiple” County Code Setting
Multiple can set 25 location information codes, as long as one of them matches this radio, it will alarm
For multiple counties, follow the above instructions. At step 3,
1.press ∧ or ∨ until Multiple is displayed, it shows “EMPTY” if the current space is not used
2.Choose the desired country (USA or Canada), then press SELECT
3.Press ∧ or ∨ button to SELECT the desired state/province then press SELECT button
4.Press ∧ or ∨ button to SELECT the desired location then press SELECT
5.The user can press “>” button to edit the address after saving
6.Press SELECT button to confirm
7.Press the OK or MENU button to exit the setting.
3.5 Set Alert Type (Display, Voice or Tone)
1. Press Menu to open menu options.
2. Press ∧ or ∨ button to scroll through menu to Set Alert Type then press SELECT.
3. Press ∧ or ∨ button to choose Voice, Tone or Display then press SELECT.
4. Press MENU or OK button to exit the setting.
Alert Type Description
Display
When the Display Alert type is chosen, only a text alert will scroll on the display. There will be no audible alarm.
Voice
When the Voice Alert type is chosen, the alert tone will sound, then you will hear the voice of the weather
broadcast.
Tone
When the Tone Alert type is chosen, the alert tone will sound for 3 minutes, or until you press any button.
3.6 Alert Test
After entering Menu option, press SELECT button will hear the alert test tone.
