DESCRIPTION: Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant 100% Acrylic Elastomeric Adhesive/Sealant with Silicone is a mildew resistant, rust
inhibited, paintable sealant. It is specifically formulated for high joint movement. It was developed to have the strength and flexibility of a silicone
sealant but with the added benefits of water clean up. Its smooth, creamy consistency makes Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant easy to tool,
and cures to a tough, flexible seal. Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant can be used for both interior and exterior applications such as crown
molding, chair rails, baseboards and all exterior trim. USES: Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant is used for sealing around window and door frames, baseboards, trim, corner joints, where siding
meets trim, and anywhere a weathertight seal is desired.
PAINTABILITY: A minimum of 2 hours dry time is required before painting with latex or oil base paint. Allow extra dry time during periods of high
humidity and/or cool temperatures.
DIRECTIONS: 1. Clean and dry surfaces. Remove any soap, oil or grease. 2. Fill deep joints or voids with a solid filler to 1/2“ of surface. 3. Cut nozzle to desired
bead size. Insert cartridge into standard caulking gun. 4. For a smooth seal, hold at a 45° angle and apply by pushing sealant ahead of nozzle.
5. Excess material can be smoothed with a putty knife or cleaned with a damp cloth.
SPECIFICATIONS: Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant meets or exceeds ASTM Specifications C-834 and C-920 Class 25 and meets Federal
Specification 230C Class A. COVERAGE: 1/4" bead - 32 ft. / 3/8" bead - 13.5 ft. PRECAUTIONS: Keep from freezing. Do not apply when product or air temperature is below 40ºF. Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant is not
recommended for continuous water immersion or vehicular or foot traffic. When stored in original unopened container at or bel
ow 90ºF (32ºC), and
above freezing, Henry #224 Window & Door Sealant has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture. Containers should always be kept
sealed when not in use. CLEAN UP: Excess caulk should be cleaned off tools and non-porous surfaces while it is in the uncured state, using a wet cloth. Cured
compounds should be cut away.
CAUTION! Keep away from heat and flame. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, flush
eyes with plenty of water. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. May cause eye and skin irritation. May cause allergic skin and/ or respiratory reaction in persons previously sensitized to isocyanates. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapor. Do not take internally. If swallowed,
do not induce vomiting. CALL A PHYSICIAN. Keep container closed when not in use. Store product in a cool place. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
