Product Overview

SUBMITTAL SHEET: Plastic Poxy™
2
SPECIFICATIONS: Plastic Poxy™
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
No waste. Cut or break off only amount needed for the job. When mixed, plastic poxy
can be molded like putty to desired shapes. Contains a fading blue dye which causes the
hardened product to appear off-white when fully mixed. Mixes like putty - hardens like steel. For
best results, surfaces should be cleaned of grease and dirt. Smooth surfaces should be
roughened by filing or sanding prior to application. Thorough mixing of plastic poxy assures best
product performance. Be sure product is mixed until it is uniform in color - not streaky. Mixing in a
cold environment may be difficult; warm the product to room temperature before mixing.
This product is not intended for use in structural applications.
1) Remove protective end dots and cut or twist off a section of plastic poxy.
2) Roll and knead plastic poxy in palms and between fingers and hands. Fold over
repeatedly and continue rolling and kneading until streaks disappear and color is
uniform.
3) Apply at once to clean, dry surfaces. Force into cracks or holes being repaired. For
smooth appearance, hand rub with water or damp cloth before material cures and
hardens. Remove any excess material before hardening begins. Plastic Poxy will harden
and starts to form a strong bond in 35-40 minutes. In 2-3 hours, systems can be put back
into service. Plastic Poxy can be drilled, sawed, filed, carved, sanded, stained or
painted. (When sanding cured Plastic Poxy or substrate, use protective eye wear and
dust mask.) Full curing will occur in 24 hours. To extend the life of Plastic Poxy, recover
ends of stick with protective dots and store in original package with cap tightly affixed. If
protective dots are missing or damaged, use aluminum foil or plastic kitchen wrap.
