Open lid on container and remove desired amount of
putty to complete your application
Make sure to put lid back on container to keep debris
from entering the container and mixing with clean putty
Knead putty in hands until soft and pliable and form into
a rope (roughly ½" thick)
Place the rope of putty around the underside of the product’s ange that you are installing,
making sure to blend the two ends together where they meet
Install your product (e.g. bath waste, shower drain, pop-up or basket strainer) as you secure
your product into place, the excess putty will ooze out from under the ange
Remove excess putty after the product is properly secured and wipe clean
If putty is being used in colder applications, wait 10 minutes after the initial installation and
conrm the product doesn’t need a little extra turn to properly secure
Excess putty can be blended back into the container as long as it is still clean and free of debris
