SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS*
Duck Butter can be used on rubber, synthetic rubber or plastic gas-
kets on potable water, drain, waste or vent lines and sewer systems.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Solubility in water: Appreciable
Appearance/color/odor: Tan colored paste. Mild odor.
WARNINGS OR CAUTIONS
• Read all cautions and directions carefully before using product.
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Prolonged contact with skin could cause irritation. Lubricant has
characteristics of soap.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
On installations, follow guides for lubrication and assembly which are
supplied by pipe, fitting and gasket manufacturers. This product is
ready for use directly from container. Do not change its consistency.
If liquid is on the surface, stir well before using.
1. Clean pipe and gasket surfaces thoroughly.
2. Be sure gasket is properly seated.
3. Apply lubricant using cloth, brush, sponge or glove. Do not leave
dry spots. Do not place lubricant into the ring groove. Avoid using
excessive amounts.
