Silicone Grease

Plumbers Silicone Grease can be used as a
lubricant on sliding or rotating metal parts in steam
and hot/cold water systems for valve stems,
faucets, O-rings and ballcock assemblies.

Smooth, translucent gel. Odorless
Read all cautions and directions carefully
before using this product.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
If Silicone Plumbers Grease is dropped on
floor, wipe up to prevent slippery footing.
Wash area thoroughly with soap and water.
When applied to rubber and synthetic O-rings,
insures free movement and extended service life of
faucets. Plumbers Silicone Grease can also be
used on sump and sewage ejector pump linkage to
prevent corrosion and sticking.

Valve Bodies: Unscrew valve bonnet nut. Rotate
valve stem counter clockwise to remove from valve
body. Clean stem and threads if necessary. Apply a
liberal amount of Silicone Plumbers Grease to the
stem and stem threads. Reassemble in reverse
order. Tighten bonnet nut lightly. Retighten if neces-
sary to prevent seepage when system pressure is
restored.
Ballcock and Float Linkages: Clean and descale
first if necessary. Apply liberally to all rubbing and
pivoting surfaces. Apply a thin film to all metal parts
in contact with water to prevent corrosion and scale
build up. Apply to float linkage threads to prevent
corrosion.
