2. Connect the adapter to a power outlet. Then, connect the other end of the Ethernet cable(s) to your
network device.
Hercules ePlug 200 HD: if required, you can connect another device to the additional connector
(e.g. a power strip, modem or printer).
To optimize data transfers over the PLC network, avoid connecting your adapter directly into a
power strip.
Once your adapters are connected, the indicator (i.e. the connection status indicator)
lights up to confirm that the network is operating correctly. Signal quality is also defined by a
colour code, described in Chapter 1.5., LEDs overview.
3. Press and hold the pairing button on one of the
connected adapters for 2–4 seconds.
You now have 2
minutes to pair the new
adapter.
4. Press and hold the pairing button on the Hercules
ePlug 200 HD adapter for 2–4 seconds.
The indicator should light up when the
adapter connects to the network.
