HESSAIRE PUMP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
 DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER TO COOLER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING PUMP.
 PUMP INSTALLATION MUST COMPLY WITH COOLER MANUFACTURER’S SPECIFICATIONS AND
APPLICABLE ELECTRICAL AND BUILDING CODES.
 USE ONLY IN UPRIGHT POSITION.
1) Before you begin replacing your evaporative cooler pump,
turn off and unplug your unit.
2) Carefully remove the back panel and media from your cooler
by removing the 2 Phillip screws and slide up then pull down and
out on the panel
3) Remove the control panel in the center or left side (depending
on the model of your unit) on the upper portion of the cooler
4) Take note or a picture of the pump function connection before
disconnecting the pump
5) Remove the green hose from the pump adapter
6) Unscrew and remove the old or defective pump from the lower
portion of your unit
7) Once removed, place the new pump with hose connector,
ensuring that the suction cups are on the bottom portion of the
pump. Insert the screw back into place so that the pump is
stabilized completely in the cooler
8) Connect wire connector to the control panel as the original
pump was connected and ensure you secure the cord to the side
of the unit using zip ties to ensure the cord does not interfere with
the fan blade
9) Connect the green hose to the hose connector
10) Once you have completed all steps you then can return the
back panel and media to the back of the cooler and ensure your
control panel is back into place
