HESSAIRE “M” MOTOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

● DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER TO COOLER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING MOTOR.
● MOTOR INSTALLATION MUST COMPLY WITH COOLER MANUFACTURER’S SPECIFICATIONS AND APPLICABLE
ELECTRICAL AND BUILDING CODES
●USE ONLY IN UPRIGHT POSITION.

INSTALLING MOTOR
1)Before you begin replacing your evaporative cooler
motor turn off and unplug your unit.
2) Carefully remove the back panel and media from your
cooler by removing the 2 Phillip screws then slide up then
pull down and out on the panels
3) Remove the side panel to the right and media by
removing the screw and slide the panel up and pull down
and out
4) Using a wrench, remove the nut from the prop by
turning to the right (opposite direction you would
normally turn) and carefully remove the prop
5)Cut the zip tie and undo the plastic ties holding the wire
harness
6)Undo the motor connection to the control panel (This
connection may vary depending on the model and it is
recommended to take a pic of the connection for easy
reconnection)
7)Unscrew the screw that holds the capacitor
8)Unscrew all the screws that hold the motor in place
9)Carefully remove the motor, capacitor, and wire harness
10)Place the new motor in the housing
11)Tuck the wires in place to the wire harness
12)Replace all the screws to hold the motor in place
13)Replace the capacitor and the screw that holds it into
place
14)Reattach the connection to the control panel
15)Tuck the wiring harness into the side clasps
16)Replace the prop, 2 washers, and nut to secure it in
place
17)Replace your rear and side media, panels, and screws
