Make certain new piping and connections have been made in a clean manner and have been purged

so that piping compound, chips, etc. will not clog regulators, valves, orifices, or burners.

LEAK TESTING TOP BURNERS

At this point, all conversion components should be installed and any hoses removed previously have

been returned and tightened. Before replacing the various sheetmetal parts, a complete leak check

must be performed on all gas-carrying components.

Begin by temporarily supporting

the single-flow center burner (if

equipped) with a small block of

wood as shown below.

Also temporarily return

all the burner rings

and caps to the other

burners.
