Type B
9 Left/Right Arrows
Scrolls through the options available in the selected menu
and increases or decreases values.
10 Back Sends you back to the upper menu level.
11 Cancel Stops an operation at any time.
12 Power
Turns the power on or off, or wakes up the machine from
the power save mode. If you need to turn the machine off,
press this button for more than three seconds.
13 Start (Mono, Color) Starts a job.
1ID Copy
Allows you to copy both sides of an ID card like a driver’s
license on a single side of paper (see "ID card copying" on
page 90).
2Contrast
Adjusts the brightness level to make a copy for easier
reading, when the original contains faint markings and dark
images.
3Scale
You can reduce or enlarge the size of a copied image from
25% to 400% when you copy original documents from the
scanner glass (see "Reduced or enlarged copy" on page 89).
4Wireless
Press this button, access to the Wi-Fi menu. Or press and
hold this button for about 3 seconds or more seconds, access
to PBC mode (see "Wireless network setup" on page 58).
5Display screen
Shows the current status and displays prompts during
operation.
6 Status LED
Indicates the status of your machine (see "Understanding the
LEDs" on page 162).
7Fax Switches to Fax mode.
8Copy Switches to Copy mode.
