Allows you to frame the subject of your
picture or video clip
13 Viewfinder lights:
Video and
AF/ Auto
Exposure/Auto
Focus and Flash
is solid red—video is recording
AF/ is solid green—after you
pressed the Shutter button halfway
down, the camera is ready (auto
exposure and auto focus are locked,
and the flash is ready)
AF/ is blinking green—either a
focus error occurred when you pressed
the Shutter button halfway down, the
flash is charging, or the camera is
processing a picture (see the following
NOTE)
Both and AF/ are blinking—an
error has occurred, for example, the
memory card is full or there is no
memory card in the camera (see the
following NOTE)
NOTE If an error prevents a picture
from being taken, then an error
message will display on the
Image Display. See Error
messages on the camera on
page 84.
