8.2
Storage Requirements
8.2.1
Packaging
The drive or option kit must be heat-sealed in a moisture barrier bag with bag supplied by HGST.
8.2.2
Storage Time
Cumulative storage time in the package must not exceed six months. After the drive is unpackaged, it must not
remain inoperative for longer than six months.
8.3
Corrosion Test
The hard disk drive shows no signs of corrosion inside or outside of the hard disk assembly and remains functional
after being exposed to a temperature of 50ºC and relative humidity of 90% for seven days
