Wi-Fi network settings
TS-x 53 Pro / SS-x 53 Pro supports 802 . 11 ac high-speed Wi-Fi networks. Connect a USB Wi-Fi network card to the
NAS, click QTS [Control Panel] > [System Settings] > [Network] > [Wi-Fi], and the available Wi-Fi access points will
be listed. The QTS
4 . 1 supports 802 . 11 ac Wi-Fi network protocols. You can connect the TS-x 53 Pro / SS-x 53 Pro
to a router supporting
802 . 11 ac protocols for higher file transfer speeds.
Dynamic DNS (DDNS) service
After connecting to the Internet, click [Control Panel] > [System Settings] > [Network] > [DDNS Service] to get the
Internet IP address. The IP address can be a DHCP or a fixed address according to your Internet Service Provider
(ISP). You can use the IP address and register a DDNS on a DDNS server. By properly setting up DDNS, the Turbo
NAS ensures that it is always reachable by automatically updating its IP address with the DDNS service provider
whenever the IP address changes.
