AVL Reader Molex Port Functions
The following table provides a description of the AVL ports.

Port Description
J1 10 pin connector. Provides the following functions (see Table 1-2 for pinout):
• RS232 connection to cellular modem.
• Power: +24V (from truck supply).
• One input auxiliary.
• One output auxiliary.
J2 12 pin connector. Provides the following functions (see Table 1-3 for pinout):
• RS485 communication to Display Unit(s).
• Local RS232 Setup and Config connection to PC
• Auxiliary connections – three outputs, one input
