What can I do if I have a severe pest problem and need an extra layer of protection?
Our vents are engineered to greatly reduce pest and bird penetration, but you can easily install extra pest
protection using construction adhesive and a plain expanded metal sheet (available at most hardware stores).
Please note that the Model B modication must be done prior to the vent installation. Model A can be done post
installation. See pictures below.
Vents connected to a dryer should NEVER be retrotted with a screen.
DO NOT install a screen if you are using a vent for a dryer.
