Honda 650 Front CV Guards

(NOTE: DOES NOT WORK ON THE NEW 680/700 RINCON)

Components:

Front CV Covers 1pair

Mounting Brackets 2ea

6mm Lock Nut 6ea

6 x 20 Hex Head Bolt 2ea

6 x 40 Hex head Bolt 6ea

6mm Flat Washer 4ea

NOTE: Views discussed are from looking at the ATV from the front and from under the ATV

looking up.

Installation:

1. Place jack under center on the ATV front end and lift until front wheels clear the ground. Be careful to

support ATV properly so that it is secure.

2. Remove the front wheels.

3. Remove the front plastic CV covers.

4. Place the High Lifter CV guards on the ATV.

5. From the bottom of the ATV insert 1 of the 6 x 30 flat head bolts and 1 of the 6x40 hex head bolts

through the CV guards into the factory bolt holes in the A-arms and secure it with the 6mm lock nuts

and washers. See illustration

6. Through the back of the CV guard insert 1 of the 6 x 20 hex head bolts through the guards and mounting bracket. 7. Next insert 1 of the 6 x 30 flat head bolts through the bottom of the CV guard and connect it to the mounting bracket. See Illustration Mounting Bracket A-arm 6 x 20 Hex Bolt 8. Repeat steps for the opposite side. 9. Place wheels back on the ATV and lower the jack.
