- Metric socket set
- Torque wrench
- Spring tool or nee dle nose pliers
- clutch compression tool or shop press (EPI part # CCT510)
- 1/2” impact wrench
- Arctic Cat oil
- Punch or spanner wrench
- Phillip s and flat tip screwdrive r s
- Clutch shoe remover ( S uzuki par t # 09920-33540)
- Sliding shaft (Suzuki part # 09930-30104)
Gaskets needed
- Order gask ets from y ou local dealer before you instal l clutch k it
- Internal clutch housing gasket - part # 3403-070
Engagement

1. Rem ove the k ey from ign ition. Remove the right side foo t r e s t including the metal s upport bra c ket. R em ov e c otter
pin and w a sh er to remove brake pedal from master cylinder push rod. R e m ove the c lutch c over. Note the length of
the bol ts and th eir location.
2. Once th e c lutch cover is removed you should be able to see both c lu tc hes. Rem ove the pla s tic clutch guard.
Remove the bolt that holds the p r im ary clutch (f r ont clutch) on. Pull the c lutch off the mach ine and pla ce on a fla t
clean s urfa c e . S lid e the insid e p late up a nd out of the clutch. This sh ould reve a l eig ht clutc h rolle r s .
3. Remove one roller a nd press th e inside weight out of it. You can usually use an 18mm/19mm or 11/16 socket and
push the weight out by hand. If needed, s et th e r oll er on a 26mm or a 1 1/ 16 s ocket, set the sm a ller s ocket on the
inner weight and lightly tap with a hamme r to r emove the weight. The weight can on ly be pushed in one direct ion ,
make sure you are pu shing it out th e r ight way or da m a ge c a n occur. Pr es s in the new weight supplie d in the k it
and pla c e the roller ba c k in the clu tc h. Repeat this step for the r emaining rollers. NOTE: If y our ki t has t wo
different weights, be sure to place them directly across from each other (or every other one). This
keeps the clutch in bal a nc e. Make sure you have all eight of the rollers in the pr ope r place a nd posit ion. Ins tall
the inside p late making s ur e a ll the rol ler s are in the proper location. Place clutch out of th e wa y and start w or king
on the secondary clutch.
