High Lifter Polaris Ranger Steering Stop

WARNING: This product will increase the turning circle of the vehicle so

that it does not turn as sharp. The purpose of this kit is to reduce the angle the

front outer CV joints endure to reduce failure at full lock turns.

Maneuverability of the vehicle will be decreased after installation of this

steering stop.

1. Set the parking brake, jack p the front end and properly secure the ranger using stands. 2. Remove both front wheels. 3. Remove left and right inner fender panels to give yourself more room to maneuver and get to the steering system. 4. Start with the driver’s side as this has the least amount of room to get your hands in and once you install the spacer on the passenger side you will have less play on the driver’s side. 5. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.

Note: On the driver’s side there is already a white spacer in place on the rack and pinion from the factory. You will add the new steering stop to it. DO NOT REMOVE THE FACTORY SPACER! (Driver side view) 8. Place the steering stop clip between the inner tie rod joint and the rack and pinion. It is a tight fit, so you may have to force it on this is to ensure that the spacer stays in place. 9. Pull boot back over the ball joint and steering stop and refasten with zip tie.
