CARE & MAINTENANCE MANUAL
Care & Cleaning:
The best long-term solution for keeping your High Sierra Showerheads® looking and functioning
like-new, is to simply dry with a towel after each use. This will keep the minerals in the water from
clinging to the surface and leaving “water-spots”.
If you notice that water-spots are beginning to form, you can remove them by using white vinegar.
To do this, spray the vinegar on a soft cloth and use it to wipe down the shower head. If large
amounts of minerals have built up, soak entire shower head in vinegar for 3-4 hours, and then try
cleaning with soft cloth.
After cleaning, thoroughly rinse shower head with clean water to ensure that none of the vinegar is
left on the shower head.
Maintenance & Repair:
To maintain proper working conditions, maintenance may be required. Our shower heads are
virtually clog-free*, but on rare occasion, large particles of debris can restrict the water
passageway. If you notice that there has been a sudden reduction in the flow of water coming from
the shower head, it’s possible that something could be blocking the flow.
To fix this, you need to dislodge whatever is stopping the flow. First, remove the shower head from
the shower arm using a crescent-type wrench. Next, look inside the shower head and see if you can
see what’s blocking the flow. If you see something, use a toothpick or paper clip to remove it. You
can also try tapping the metal side of the shower head on a hard surface to see if it dislodges. Next,
reattach the shower head and run water through it to see if the blockage is gone. If it appears that
something is still blocking the flow, please contact Customer Service at 888-445-1941.
