eSATA Ports
These represent the RocketRAID 2522’s two external Mini-SAS ports. Each Mini-SAS
port host up to 4 SATA or SATA II hard disk.The card supports up to 40 hard disks
when used in conjunction with Port Multiplier devices.
BEEP1 - Speaker:
Alarm (Speaker): the speaker emits and audible alarm in the case of disk/arrary failure.
JP2 - RJ45 Port
Designed for use with the external hard disk enclosures - enables the RAID Manage-
ment Console to monitor and manage various chassis functions/attributes
(temperature,hard disk status,etc.)
