Your device will periodically perform a self-calibraon to opmize image quality and measurement
accur
acy. In this process the image will pause briey and you'll hear a "click" as a shuer moves in
front of the detector. The self-calibraon will be more frequent during start up or in very cold or
hot environments. This is a normal part of operaon to ensure opmum performance for your
device.
3.1 Focus
Adjust the focusing to clearly display target objects before you doing other operaons, or it may
aect the image display and temperature accuracy.
3.1.1 Focus Lens
Steps
1. P
ower on the device.
2. Aim the device lens to the appropriate scene.
3. Adjust the focus knob clockwise or anclockwise, see gure below.

Note
DO NOT touch the lens to avoid aecng the display eect.
