Chapter 12 Local Menu Operaon
Connect a display and a mouse to recorder, you can operate the recorder locally.
12.1 IP Camera Adding
The secon is only available for the recorder that supports network camera.
12.1.1 Acvate IP Camera
Before adding an IP camera, acvate it by seng a password for it.
Before You Start
Connect the IP camera to IP camera interface in the recorder rear panel.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → Other
Sengs → IPC Sengs .
2. Click Manual Management.
3. Select an
inacvated IP camera.

Acvate the selected IP camera.

Click Quick
Acve. The IP camera password will be set as the same with the device password.

Click Manu Acve and enter the same password in New Password and Conrm.
Cauon
We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum
of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories: upper case leers, lower
case leers, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product.
And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system,
reseng the password monthly or weekly can beer protect your product.
12.1.2 Add IP Camera
Before You Start
The IP camera is acve.
Steps
1. Select Menu → Other Sengs → IPC Sengs
2. Uncheck Auto Add and click Manage IP Camera.
3. Edit camera IP address.
1) Select an IP camera and click Edit.
2) Enter an IP address that is in the same network segment with the recorder.
