With the App, you can view live image of the camera, receive alarm notification and so on. Note: Hik-Connect service is not supported by certain camera models. 5.1 Enable Hik-Connect Service on Camera Purpose: Hik-Connect service should be enabled on your camera before using the service. You can enable the service through SADP software or web browser. 5.1.

The status will then change to Normal. You can then start recording any event triggered video in the camera such as motion detection.
