HDTVI is Turbo HD, the latest in high-definition analog technology,
delivering significant advantages over other HD analog formats. Ideal for
supporting the move away from NTSC/PAL to HD video, Hikvision’s analog-
to-digital migration solution enables users to reuse existing infrastructure,
maximizing the ROI on their video surveillance equipment.
Previous HD video over coax methods were limited by cable type and
distance, reliability, lack of bi-directional communications, and total system
cost. Turbo HD addresses these challenges, providing high-definition
megapixel video that installs as easily as standard analog CCTV cameras. It is
as simple to operate as analog, enabling users to benet from IP’s additional
camera options, higher resolutions and network device capabilities at
signicantly lower cost than IP technology.
Capable of supporting longer cable runs, HDTVI delivers up to 2.1 megapixel
images, transmitting video with ZERO latency. A “tribrid” recorder, the
Turbo HD DVR supports TurboHD analog, existing analog and additional
capabilities enabled by IP.
