Chapter 7 System Settings
7.1 Basic Information
7.1.1 Viewing Basic Information
Enter the Basic Information interface:
Configuration > System > System Settings > Basic Information
In the Basic Information interface, you can edit the Device Name and Device No.
Other information of the camera, such as Model, Serial No., Firmware Version, Encoding Version, Web
Version, Plugin Version, Number of Channels, Number of HDDs, Number of Alarm Input and Number of
Alarm Output are displayed. The information cannot be changed in this menu. It is the reference for
maintenance or modification in future.

7.1.2 Time Settings
Purpose:
You can follow the instructions in this section to configure the time which can be displayed on the video.
There are Time Zone, Time Synchronization, Daylight Saving Time (DST) functions for setting the time.
Time Synchronization consists of auto mode by Network Time Protocol (NTP) server and manual mode.
To enter the Time settings interface:
Configuration > System > System Settings > Time Settings
