2. Set the log search conditions to specify the search, including the Major Type, Minor Type, Start
Time and End Time as shown in Figure 7-12.
3. Click to search log files. The matched log files will be displayed on the Log List.
4. To export the log files, click Save Log to save the log files in your computer.
7.2.3 System Service
Hardware
It refers to the hardware service, for example supplement light, the camera supports. Check
correspondent function to enable it. Supported functions varies according to the different cameras.
Note:
The supplement light configuration is only supported by certain models.
Software
Display camera range of the PTZ channel
Check the function, the view of the PTZ channel is marked on the panoramic view with a rectangle.
It helps locate the PTZ camera in the whole scenes.
Live View Connection
You can set the maximum live view connection to control the simultaneous visits.
Note:
The number of live view connection varies according to different camera models. The maximum
number of live view connection equals the number of camera channels multiplied by 6. If the
camera supports 2 channels, up to 12 users are supported for live view at the same time.
Steps:
1. Enter the interface of configuring the remote connection:
Configuration > System > Maintenance > System Service
2. Input a number in text field as the upper limit of the remote connection number. E.g. when you
specify the remote connection number as 10, then the 11th remote connection cannot be
established.

3. Click to activate the settings.
7.3 Security
7.3.1 Configuring Authentication
Purpose:
You can specifically secure the stream data of live view. RTSP authentication and WEB authentication
are supported.
