About This Document
This document introduces PanoVu series network camera, including 360° panoramic + PTZ camera, 270°
panoramic + PTZ camera, 180° panoramic + PTZ camera, and 360° panoramic camera. It covers how to
activate and access to the camera, and operate the camera in the network environment.
Overview of Contents
This document contains the following chapters, sections and appendixes:
Chapter1 Activating and Accessing to the Camera provides procedures for setting network
environment, activating and accessing the camera by web browsers and client software, and
introduces the power-up action.
Chapter2 Setting Local Parameters and Network suggests the basic settings, including viewing device
local information, configuring saving paths of files, network settings, and other settings.
Chapter3 Live View describes how to view video and configure the available settings for the camera via
web browser.
Chapter4 PTZ Control describes the PTZ function of camera, including preset, patrol, and pattern. It
also suggests the PTZ configurations, such as PTZ limits, initial position, and park actions, etc..
Chapter5 Storage and Playback introduces how to set the storage, set the recording schedule and
capture schedule to trigger the recording and capture by events, and how to view the
pictures and play back the saved video files.
Chapter6 Alarm and Events explains how to configure the camera to respond to alarm events, and
make the events to trigger alarm actions.
Chapter7 Maintenance describes how to set the system settings, security settings and user
management, including time settings, RS-485 settings, and DST settings, etc.
Appendix describes the SADP software, surge protection and details, attention of waterproof
measurements and bubble maintenance, RS-485 bus connection details, wire gauge
standards and transmission distance, and alarm in/out connections, etc.
Notice
The Camera 1 is the PTZ camera channel, and the Camera 2 and Camera 3 are the panoramic camera
channels.
All PTZ functions, including privacy mask, and ROI function are only supported by Camera 1.
