Chapter 4 Fire Source Detecon
The device will trigger and upload alarm when detect the re source or smoking.
Fire source
detecon includes re source detecon and smoking detecon. It is applied to re-
prevenon purposes in scenic region, forest, tunnel and so on.
Fire Detecon
Congure
the re source detecon parameters. When re source is detected, the alarm acons
will be triggered.
Smoking Detecon
The device can detect the smoking behavior and output alarm.
4.1 Select Recommended Scene
Introduce the recommended scenes of re source detecon and help you select the appropriate
scene.
Fire source
detecon can be applied to indoor and outdoor monitoring with a maximum detecon
radius 15 km. To achieve the best monitoring eect, please set the installaon place as
requirements below.
• The
installaon place should be the highest posion within the detecon area. The lens should
not be covered during movement to detect the maximum area.
• It is
beer to choose the installaon place with convenient trac, well-equipped power and
internet facilies. E.g.: communicaon tower, watchtower, high-rise roof and so on.
4.2 Set Fire
Detecon Parameters
To avoid the potenal re damage, you should congure the re detecon funcon for certain
areas. The detail
conguraon steps show as below.
Before You Start
Go to Conguraon → System → Maintenance → VCA Resource Type , select Temperature
Measurement+Behavior Analysis or Temperature Measurement+Fire Detecon.
Steps
1. Go to Conguraon → Local .
2. Check Locate Highest Temperature Point to display the
posion of highest temperature. Check
Frame Fire Point to frame the re source on live view.
3. Go to
Conguraon → Event → Smart Event , select Dynamic Fire Source Detecon.
4. Check Enable Dynamic Fire Source Detecon.
5. Set the parameters of
re detecon.
