15.10.5 HTTP Authencaon
If you need to enable the HTTP service, you can set HTTP authencaon to enhance access
security.
Steps
1. Go to Maintenance → System Service → System Service .

2. Check Enable HTTP.
3. Select HTTP
Authencaon Type.
Note
Two authencaon types are selectable, for security reasons, it is recommended to select
digest as the authencaon type.
4. Click Apply to save the sengs.
5. Restart the device to take eect the sengs.
15.10.6 HTTP/Web Digest Algorithm
HTTP/Web digest algorithm is based on HTTP protocol, it is an algorithm for digest authencaon
of the user authencaon. You can congure HTTP/web digest algorithm via web browser.
Go to
Conguraon → System → Security → Authencaon via web browser to select the
required digest algorithm type.
15.10.7 Picture URL Digest
Authencaon
When using HTTP protocol to download the pictures which are uploaded by SDK could, picture URL
digest authencaon controls whether the picture download process requires digest
authencaon or not. You can congure picture URL digest authencaon via web browser.
Go to Conguraon → System → Security → Security Service via web browser to enable/disable
picture URL digest
authencaon.
15.10.8 Serial Port
Authencaon Service
Serial port can be used to capture device informaon and control the device. Serial port
authencaon service provides the authencaon for the serial port usage.
