How to Use Hikvision EasyDDNS Server

1. Make sure the products support Hikvision EasyDDNS Server. At the moment when this

manual is written, only Hikvision new series IP cameras with firmware version 3.2 and above

could support this system.

4. Add the device by its local IP. 5. Configure the addresses of IP, net mask, gateway, DNS Server. If a router is used to get the public IP, you also need to do NAT configuration or called port forwarding on the router. Make sure the camera is accessible from Internet after the settings.

6. Enter Config>Device Setup>Advanced Network. 7. Configure the DDNS settings  Enable DDNS  select “Private” as the Server  type in www.hik-online.com or 123.157.208.8 at Domain name textbox  type in 6555 as the Port.  click the “confirm” button  click the “save parameter” button You will see a “save successfully” dialogue if everything is OK. If save configuration fail, it means the camera can not communicate with the EasyDDNS.

8. Copy the serial No. of the product. 9. Access the www.hik-online.com. Click Register a new user.

10. Create a new user. 11. Login as the new user.

12. Enter “Device Management”. Click the “Add” button. 13. Input a device alias, device serial No. and the http port.

14. Enter “Device Status”, access the device by its link URL. Or, you could access the device directly from an IE web browser by the URL: http://www.hik-online.com/AliasGivenByYou.
