6.7 Authenticating Identity
Purpose:
After setting network, system parameters and adding user, you can go back to the initial page for
identity authentication.
The system will authenticate person according to the configured authentication mode.
You can authenticate identity via 1:1 matching or 1:N matching.
Note: Biometric recognition products are not 100% applicable to anti-spoofing environments. If
you require a higher security level, use multiple authentication modes.
1:N Matching:
Compare the captured face picture or the collected fingerprint picture with all
face pictures or all fingerprint pictures stored in the device.
1: 1 Matching:
When swiping card, compare the captured face picture or the collected
fingerprint with the information stored in the card.
6.7.1 Authenticating via 1:1 Matching
Steps:
1. If the authentication mode is Card and Face, Card and Face and Fingerprint, swipe card in the
card swiping area.
If you select QR code button on the initial page, you can put the QR code in front of the device
camera to authenticate via QR code.
2. If the authentication mode is Card and Face, position the face looking at the camera to
authenticate face.
