The combihammer
switches itself off
automatically.
The overload cut-out
has been activated.
Release the control
switch. Allow the
combihammer to cool
down. Press the
control switch again.
Reduce the load on
the tool.
The combihammer
or the battery gets
very hot.
Electrical fault. Switch the combiham-
mer off immediately.
Remove the battery
and keep it under
observation. Allow it
to cool down. Contact
Hilti service.
The combihammer has
been overloaded (appli-
cation limits exceeded).
Select a tool that
is suitable for the
intended purpose.
The insert tool can’t
be released.
Chuck not pulled back
fully.
Pull the tool lock back
as far as it will go and
remove the accessory
tool.
The drill bit makes
no progress.
The combihammer is
set to run in reverse
rotation.
Move the forward / re-
verse selector switch
to the “Forward” posi-
tion.
