5.7 Discarding initially dispensed mortar
WARNING
Risk of injury Chemicals hazard.
▶ Never point the dispenser toward yourself or other persons. Begin dispensing mortar only after the
mixing nozzle has been screwed on. Incorrect use can lead to injury.
You must discard the initially dispensed volume of mortar every time the static mixer (mixing nozzle)
is changed.
The initially dispensed mortar is not suitable for use.
5.7.1 Manually discarding the initial quantity of mortar 5

Set the dispensing mode selector switch to .
2. Squeeze the trigger until the mixing nozzle is completely full.

Set the dispensing mode selector switch to the appropriate volume of mortar for discarding .
Discard the amount of mortar stated in the instructions for the foil pack.
4. Discard the initially dispensed volume of mortar.
5.7.2 Initial quantity of mortar dispensed with discard function
The benefit of the discard function is that you can set the quantity of mortar to be discarded.
Before starting, check that the battery still has enough power for you to use the discard function.

Set the dispensing mode selector switch to .
2. Squeeze the trigger until the mixing nozzle is completely full.
3.
Turn the dispensing wheel to the discard function and keep the trigger squeezed until the dispenser
automatically stops the discard function.
▶ If the required discard quantity was correctly dispensed, the tool LED shows green.
▶ Otherwise, the tool LED shows red. If this happens, repeat the procedure for discarding the mortar.
Failure to repeat the procedure for discarding mortar can lead to mixing disruptions and reduced
load values.
The mixing nozzle must be filled all the way to the tip before ejection of the mortar required for
discarding commences. Otherwise, the discarded quantity is not sufficient.
Use only the mixing nozzle supplied when discarding the initially ejected mortar. Do not use an
extension tube.
6 Operation
Observe the safety instructions and warnings in this documentation and on the product.
6.1 Injecting mortar 6
For each new foil pack and each new cartridge and if the mortar has hardened inside the mixing
nozzle, always use a new static mixer (mixing nozzle).
1. Press the trigger.
2. Inject the mortar.
6.2 Repeat function
The repeat function allows you to repeat dispensing with the measured quantity of mortar last dispensed,
regardless of the dispensing mode (continuous dispensing / measured dispensing).

Turn the dispensing wheel to the repeat symbol and keep the trigger squeezed until the dispenser
automatically stops dispensing.
▶ If the volume was correctly dispensed, the tool LED shows green.
