Cable length is not dis-
played
Is the cable between 2 and 300 m
long?
→The cable length measurement
range of this instrument is 2 to
300 m (6.6 to 984-ft.). However,
cable length cannot be mea-
sured if the cable’s characteristic
impedance is far from 100 Ω.
The Model 9628 LAN CABLE is
1 m long, so it cannot be mea-
sured.
The results of the cable
length test is different
from the actual cable
length.
The amount of error specified for
cable length testing is ± 4%rdg. ±
1m. Please check first to see if the
test results come within this range.
→If the test results are indeed out-
side of the accuracy range,
change the settings for the NVP
